Here’s a tougher pill to swallow:
On our first day in Dar es Salaam, we visited @baba_oreste - a centre for kids with disabilities.
Despite their difficulties, we played lots of games, sang and danced, and I felt that they genuinely enjoyed our presence more than anything.
As my first interaction with kids in Tanzania, it was also the toughest. Like it or not, these beautiful children trying to live everyday lives raised so many emotions it was hard not to get affected.
I am incredibly grateful for my health and family, and I’ve learned invaluable lessons from this journey.
