Accessibility

Style should be for everyone. We build FashionMix to be fast, legible, and usable however you browse — and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What that means here

• Keyboard-friendly. Everything works without a mouse, with a visible focus ring and a skip-to-content link.
• Readable contrast. Text meets AA contrast on our pure-white pages; nothing important is signalled by colour alone.
• Calm motion. The only animation (the price scanner) is subtle and fully respects prefers-reduced-motion.
• Scales with you. Layouts hold up at 200% zoom and adapt from phone to desktop.
• Light by design. Pages ship with almost no JavaScript, so they load fast and stay robust on slow connections and older devices.
• Semantic structure. Proper headings, labelled controls, and alt text so screen readers can follow along.

Still improving

Accessibility is never "done." If something trips you up — a control you can't reach, text you can't read, an image missing a description — we want to fix it.
