Find
Seen a piece you love? Show us.
A screenshot, a fitting-room shot, a street snap — one item, most of it in frame. AI vision identifies the piece, then we compare live prices across every store selling it, cheapest first.
Takes 30–90 seconds — it's really out there looking.
Your photo is analyzed and discarded — never stored, never shared.
How it works
- Upload the photo. A screenshot, a camera-roll shot, a saved pin — one garment, most of it in frame.
- AI vision reads the piece. Garment type, colour, cut, fabric, and any brand tell it can spot — a logo, a signature hardware detail, a recognizable print.
- A live hunt checks the stores. The brand's own site, department stores, off-price retailers — every result is a verified product page, listed cheapest first with live prices.
What FIND actually does
FIND is a reverse image search built only for clothes. Upload a photo of any clothing item — a screenshot from Instagram or TikTok, a fitting-room mirror shot, a street snap, a mannequin in a shop window — and AI vision reads the piece the way a sharp-eyed friend would: the garment type, the colour, the cut, the fabric, and any brand tell it can spot, from an embroidered pony to a monogrammed buckle.
Then it goes shopping. A live web hunt tracks that exact item across the brand's own site, department stores, and off-price retailers, and comes back with a price comparison: the same piece, every store we found it in, cheapest first, with live prices read straight from each store's product page where available. One tap takes you to the store — we never sell anything ourselves, and exact-match results are never filtered by whether we earn.
What it's for
- The screenshot graveyard. That saved photo of an outfit you never identified — upload it and get the actual product page.
- Seen in the wild. A jacket on a stranger, a dress in a shop window you walked past — one discreet photo is enough.
- Price checking. Already know the piece? FIND shows what every store charges for it before you pay full retail.
- Close-enough hunting. When the exact item is sold out or unnamed, "you might also like" lines up the nearest pieces in stock.
Photos that work best
One item, decent light, most of the piece in frame. Logos and labels help but aren't required — cut and colour carry a lot. Screenshots work as well as originals. JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, under 4 MB.

Questions, answered
How does FashionMix photo search work?
Upload a photo of any clothing item — a screenshot, a fitting-room shot, a street snap. AI vision reads the piece (brand, cut, colour, even a visible logo), then live web search hunts down direct product pages where that exact item is sold. Every link is checked before it's shown.
Can FIND identify clothes from an Instagram or TikTok screenshot?
Yes — screenshots are what FIND sees most. Crop roughly to the item if you can (one garment, most of it in frame) and upload the screenshot as-is; watermarks and captions don't bother it.
Can FIND compare prices for the same item across stores?
Yes. When the exact item is found at more than one store, FIND lists every store side by side, cheapest first, with live prices read from each store's own product page where available — so you see what the department store, the brand site, and the off-price retailer each charge before you buy.
Can FIND identify clothing with no visible brand or label?
Usually, yes. Cut, colour, fabric and construction details carry most of the identification — a logo just speeds it up. When the exact piece can't be pinned down, you still get the closest in-stock matches so the search never ends empty-handed.
Is my photo stored?
No. Your photo is analyzed in memory for one search and discarded. It is never saved, never shared, never used for anything else.
What kinds of photos work best?
One item, decent light, most of the piece in frame. Screenshots from Instagram or TikTok work great; so do photos of a friend's jacket or a mannequin in a shop window.
Does it cost anything?
No — photo search is free, with no account and no sign-up. FashionMix earns a small commission from some retailers when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. Exact-match results are never filtered by whether we earn.
