It is a 73mm rimless wraparound, which is to say a windshield you wear: built for the boat deck, the trail, the long run at an hour when the glare comes off the water sideways. Maui Jim's polarization — the reason the brand has a cult — does its most dramatic work in exactly these conditions, cutting the horizontal bounce that ordinary dark lenses only dim.
Rimless matters more here than it does on a dress frame.
